I recently quit a Wulfrik campaign where I conquered all of Norsca, but I really struggled for income and by the late game I was way behind the other factions. That is an excellent suggestion, thanks for that. Turn all of Norsca into their econ buildings and hero recruiters considering Couronne does all your recruitment for you already. Get all of Norsca in one go and the AI will have built it up for you. When one of the other lords conquers Norsca, usually Wulfrick or Throgg, go kill him. It knocks out your recruitment province and your early game money exp glut in one go. Couronne has enough settlement slots to build every Noracan military building, gives a unique tech unlock, and is central to the whole map. If Wulfrick, take your immediate province and then hit Couronne. The amount of time it takea to wander around up North, the amount of territory you suddenly have to defend, and the fact that none it is worth that much means taking the time to kill each Norscan lord one at a time is a waste of time. Has anyone got any tips for me? I need help! I haven’t done any monster hunts yet and I haven’t raised any temples to God’s because I’m not strong enough to take any enemy settlements. I have also sent a lord around the sea to collect treasure which helps a little but gets spent quickly. I also have most of the money saving buffs. I’m wondering if I need to invest more heavily in my economic buildings, but they seem to generate so little and everyone hates me, so finding a trading partner is tricky. This happens every time and it means I’m just stuck in the north and can’t get anywhere? It takes at least three turns to build siege towers, rams by which time the AI has reached me with multiple stacks and destroys my army. It seems like all of the human settlements are walled ( i haven’t come across one test isn’t) which means I have to lay siege. I have been told I need to raid and sack to build up my economy, but sacking is almost impossible. When I attack Kislev, I always get beaten back easily because they have upwards of five stacks. Due to the Norscan economy, I’m strugglIng to field any more than one stack and even to support this I need to be constantly raiding.
I’m only at war with Kislev, and I’m allied to Clan Morder, skaven. I’m having real trouble getting anywhere playing as Norsca in Mortal Empires (Very hard)I managed to confederate with all the other tribes so I own most of Norsca minus a few territories that Kislev took early on.
